GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Actress Pom Klementieff Confirms Mantis Will Return For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
The cast of Avengers: Infinity War just got a little bigger as Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 actress Pom Klementieff has seemingly confirmed the return of Mantis in the upcoming two-part sequel.
Marvel Studios is just around seventeen months away from redefining the modern comic book movie as we know it with the arrival of Avengers: Infinity War, which is expected to assemble an unprecedented amount of heroes on-screen for a movie event so big, it needed a second part to fully tell its story.
Production on the highly anticipated film began last Monday and while it hasn't been officially announced by the studio, a handful of Marvel's biggest stars should have already touched down in Atlanta over the past week as they prepare for the nearly year-long shoot, which will see both Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4 shoot back-to-back.
Earlier today, one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's newest inductees, Pom Klementieff, who will make her debut later this year in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 more or less confirmed her involvement in the upcoming Russo Brothers-directed feature by posting an image of herself in Atlanta sporting a beanie with the new Infinity War logo. Additionally, a few days ago, she also posted a photo of the cover of Avengers #123, a story that reveals the shocking origin of Mantis to Earth's Mightiest Heroes, so that may or may not suggest that the Guardians' first meeting with the Avengers may not go over as smoothly as one would hope.

“We’ve always had a plan since Nick Fury broke into Tony Stark’s house and told him he’s part of a bigger universe," recalled Feige. "'Avengers: Infinity War Part 1' is the beginning of the culmination of everything that has come before."
