Avengers Assemble had to fill some pretty big shoes when it started airing. after all it came after Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, on of Marvel's Best animated series EVER. Needless to say the show failed miserably in its first season. But Marvel Animation, contrary to what most fans think, do listen to fans, as the show went thourgh some changes for the first part of the second season of the show.
The biggest change however comes with the new Marvel Animation VP Stephen wacker who took over the show and made sure that the series features story arcs(something thatw as clearly missing from the show's mediocre first season). The first of these arcs started airing last week and focuses on Ultron as well as the team disassembeling.

To celebrate the upcoming release of Avengers age of ultron, Disney XD will air a marathon of the first Avengers Assemble story arc, made of four episodes, next Tuesday. The marathon has been dubbed by the channel as "Ultron-athon". Check out the trailer below of what to expect:

Are you going to give Avengers Assemble a second chance, now that it went thourgh many changes and features story arcs, and see if the show deserves your attention?

Already two episodes into this story arc. So their going to run them again back to back? Ok. Shows still not as good as it could be. For instance, two seasons in and still no new cast members. They do realize there's plenty more avengers to introduce right?

@wileejay they shouldn't add new members to the team. The writing in this show is so poor, adding new characters to the team won't help at all.

Umm. One of the greatest parts of the overall story in EMH was the roster changing around constantly. You know, like the Avengers do? It was written better too, but it gave that show a dynamic this one simply doesn't have. This show plays with the connected universe like the films. Ultimate Spider-Man and Hulk and TAOS exist in the same continuity. The show seems like they got together the same as the first Avenger movie, then the story went it's own direction. Falcon has been the only new addition to this team, and that was in the first episode of the first season. Ant Man was in one episode in season one. But not as an Avenger. Horribly written. I watch it with my son, and I'm holding out on it getting better. Not holding my breath though.

SMH, cancel this shit along with the current roster of Marvel cartoons. Go back to the drawing board and look back at what made Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes good. Seriously Marvel

big time when it comes to cartoons and shit. Seriously, how the hell can you fail so badly in the cartoon department when you have Disney backing you up?!
