“There are no strings on me.” Since the first official release of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, the film’s titular villain Ultron’s menacing appearance and memorable speech has grabbed many fans’ attention and left wondering how the Earth’s mightiest heroes can stand up against this highly dangerous robot and its large army. With the epic blockbuster just few short months away from hitting theatres worldwide, Hot Toys is very excited to “show you something beautiful” today, the 1/6th scale Ultron Prime Collectible Figure, that many fans and collectors have eagerly awaited to see! The movie-accurate Collectible Figure is specially crafted based on the image of Ultron Prime in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It stands approximately 41 cm tall, featuring a newly developed head sculpt and body with mechanical details, LED light-up head and upper body, and a specially designed logo figure base with LED light-up function! This threatening villain will have great presence in your Avengers: Age of Ultron collection!

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

prime means he is the first one. The main one. Cause there are the ultron drones below him.

Really not feeling Ultron Prime, to be honest.

If you take the 2 ant like pinchers out there's nothing making him recognisable as Ultron at all.

I'm sure it'll work better in the context of the film, but as a standalone figure? this is very underwhelming. which is a surprise considering other designs... e.g. Cap's new costume, are outstanding in figure or on-set picture form.

I've been a big fan of Hot Toys figures for a long time now but I have to say that this one looks like painted plastic. The Iron Man figures they make actually look like steel. Shame they couldn't have gotten this one to look like steel. It's a cool design tho.

He needs to be more buff! More filled out and solid, instead of having his stomach open and wiring near it. But overall I'm really liking Ultron prime.

A mix between this design and the one in the picture and we'd have an absolute beast of an Ultron

@write33
They've done a fine job, Ultron "Prime" design just feels too generic(take the ant pinchers off and he looks like a transformer scaled down to be a terminator), they should of stuck with the design for the Ultron "drones.

Which basically look(the drones I mean) like the pic Deus Ex just posted.

@G3n3r4lzZoD9

yup yup, I'd much prefer the red Ultron Sentry as the main villain design...but I have in faith in Marvel that this Ultron Prime will work when animated / voiced by Spader, etc.
no dig on the model makers btw, they gotta work with what the designs they receive.

It's not as good as it could/should have been but it's still going to be Ultron! On the big screen! With the perfect actor portraying him.

I can see why some people would deslike this design,it is lacking some important trademarks,like the nuclear furnace mouth gap,but i like it.
it is very imposing IMHO and you need to ad the fact that it will be 8 feet tall.

konoyaro aprove this design.
