The Fantastic Four and X-Men are on their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that's bound to have an impact on Phase 4. While Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige no doubt has a rough idea of how the slate is shaping up, that's bound to be in flux right now and a number of projects are probably being developed which will never see the light of day. The question is, is Dark Avengers one of them?
According to That Hashtag Show, the studio has commissioned a script for the project and now have their hands on a completed version. That's a pretty big move and it's hard to imagine what form the movie could take, especially given the roster. Then again, Marvel Studios will have access to all of the villains in the banner image above before long so they could have easily factored them into a script.
How the Dark Avengers would come to be is hard to say and given how far Marvel plans ahead, we may not see this team assemble for years. Feige may have just put a script together as an option and the site's report is pretty vague so it's probably best not to get too excited about this one just yet. Do you think we'll see the Dark Avengers assemble after a Secret Invasion storyline? Sound off down below.
