Over at Big Shiny Robot! we received a report from an anonymous tipster that may or may not be accurate, but it's tantalizing and worth discussing.
First is that it seems as though they might be shooting some of the Avengers picture in New York this spring.
Secondly, while shooting, actors from the S.H.I.E.L.D. crew will be making appearances and recruiting for "The Avengers Initiative." This would include Samuel L. Jackson.
The most tantalizing tidbit might be the idea that Kevin Pennington will be playing Agent Wendell Vaughn, who most of you know as Quasar.
I have inquiries out with some people in the industry and those I've heard back from haven't heard anything along these lines, but it's worth discussing. I'd like to see it happen.
