When The Dark Knight was released a decade ago, audiences were wowed by the epic story and spectacular set pieces. The most memorable element,however, was the Joker. Heath Ledger's Oscar-winning performance mesmerized moviegoers and set the standard by which all other comic book villains are measured.

To mark the film's 10th anniversary, IGN spoke with James Caglione, Jr. who shared many interesting details on the character's striking appearance. The featurette is narrated by Cinefix's Clint Cage and includes plenty of BTS footage. 

The video is a little over 9 minutes and is worth a watch for every fan of the film. Check it out and share your thoughts in the usual place.

Very interesting. Heath Ledger is probably the second greatest adaptation of the Joker, behind Mark Hamill. I wish he had been alive to do more interviews.

Intersting. So Ledger rifted and brainstormed on doing a Joker Origin.

And now 11 years later...that is what they will do.

What is remembered of every single MCU / DCEU movies since released?

MCU = Lame ass on liner jokes or "cool visual effects" as memes in gif/jpg pics

DCEU = MARTHA!, Mustache!, SadAffleck and some other bad CGI affects as memes in gif/jpg pics

So far, there hasn't been any movie that came even close to being as good as TDK let alone toping it.

To me Heath Ledgers Joker is the best Joker and not just cuz he passed away but because he gave it his all.
