Explore The Caped Crusader's "Weird" Relationship With Robin In New THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE TV Spot

Another hilarious TV spot for The LEGO Batman Movie has been released, and it doesn't hesitate to poke fun at the "weird" relationship between Will Arnett's minifigure Caped Crusader and his sidekick...

A new TV spot for The LEGO Batman Movie has been released, and it proves that the Dark Knight is "Not Really A Hugger" as we get to explore his relationship with Robin. That's something the movie clearly isn't going to shy away from poking fun of, but don't expect any weird jokes about them sharing a bed! With respect to both Wonder Woman and Justice League, this looks like 2017's best DC Comics adaptation, and it's almost certainly going to be a worthy successor to 2014's hit The LEGO Movie

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. Based on this new trailer, that's going to be tough for him!

Also starring Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson and Zach Galifianakis, The LEGO Batman Movie will be in cinemas worldwide on February 10th, 2017. Let us know your thoughts on this sneak peek below.

Still my most anticipated DC movie of 2017.

This Robin's hormones look more mixed than a bag of chex mix.

I never knew how much I needed Michael Cera as Robin.

On the one hand, this movie looks like it'll be hilarious fun, but also the obnoxious fanboy in me is really tired of the "robin is lame" narrative that this is just gonna help spread. Also are they doing a Bruce/Barbara thing? Sure hope not.

@The72nd - it's not like the other movies are doing anything with him either, he's already dead over there.

Will we ever see a live action gold chest plate again or is that too 80s?

@ElJefe - I'm holding out hope that the standalone Batfleck movie will, justifying it the same way TDKR did:

@tylerzero - That would be great. So many of us are holding out for Ben's solo film we should be calling him Messiaffleck. Oh, and I also want the outside underpants. Thank you, Messiaffleck!

@ElJefe - I've always been a big fan of the batman inc light up bat symbol

@The72nd - Yes that was very cool. Out of all the heroes where they mess with their iconic designs, Batman always still seems to be pretty cool.
