News broke late last night that Todd Phillips' planned Joker sequel, currently titled Folie à Deux, was on the verge of a huge casting coup, with Academy Award-winning singer/actress Lady Gaga in early talks to play Harley Quinn. We expected a barrage of fan-art to follow, and Boss Logic has now shared his take on the House of Gucci star as the unhinged DC Comics anti-hero.
This artwork appears to take inspiration from the more modern interpretation of the character, with a bit of Jinx from League of Legends (presumably) thrown in for good measure.
Of course, Gaga's Harley Quinn probably won't look anything like either the comic book versions or Margot Robbie's DCEU take on the character. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if she only "suited-up" for the movie's song and dance numbers.
Oh yeah, in case you missed that part of the report, it's going to be a musical.
Phillips recently shared a photo of Joaquin Phoenix reading the Joker 2 script, but it seems the actor still hasn't officially signed on to reprise the role of Arthur Fleck just yet.
Would you like to see Lady Gaga don a comic-accurate costume, or would you rather she looked more "normal" in order to distinguish her from Robbie's Quinn?
