Last week, we asked you to vote for your favourite live-action Batman actor and thousands of you chimed in to make your voices heard.

The Dark Knight is arguably DC Comics' most iconic character (sorry, Superman) and fans have often been divided when it comes to the actors who have played him. When Michael Keaton was cast in Tim Burton's Batman, for example, Warner Bros. rushed out a trailer in an effort to ease the minds of those who felt he was the wrong choice for the role.

The tide has clearly changed since then, though, as 24.89% of you chose Keaton as your favourite Batman!

However, we need to point out that it was an incredibly close result because Christian Bale was right behind Keaton with 24.57% (there were literally 8 votes in it). In third place was Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Ben Affleck with 22.32%, proving Batfleck holds a special place in many of your hearts!

Robert Pattinson, meanwhile, clearly managed to make an impact in The Batman last year as he was next with 10%, while the late, great Kevin Conroy - who played a live-action Batman in Crisis on Infinite Earths - nabbed 9.59%.

The legendary Adam West was up next with 4.58%, while Titans star Iain Glen followed with 1.61%. Next up was Batman Forever star Val Kilmer with a mere 1.53%, and poor George Clooney followed him with 0.76%.

Gotham star David Mazouz (and his body double Mikhail Mudrik) secured just 0.08% of the vote, while serial actors Lewis Wilson and Robert Lowery tied for last place with 0.04%.

Keaton will reprise the role of Batman in The Flash this summer. Originally, Warner Bros. planned for him to star in the now-cancelled Batgirl and a Batman Beyond project, cementing him as the DCEU's new Caped Crusader. Plans have changed under DC Studios' watch, but his return is still very exciting.

How do you feel about these results?

All these people who keep voting for Keaton know good and well that his Batman is overrated.

It's funny because on this very site recently I was defending a casting choice by bringing up Keaton, and what I can only assume were a bunch of kids tried to tell me everyone was excited for him and no one was concerned about Mr. Mom being Batman.

@SATW42 - Yeah I would have 100% ignored them because if they said that then they clearly had no idea what they were talking about.
