Sam Rockwell is Ready to Wear the Batman Cowl (Again)

Rockwell said that he's interested in reprising the role of "The Bat-Man" in a sequel to the cult classic short film Robin's Big Date.

While participating in the Iron Man 2 roundtable interviews at the San Diego Comic-Con, I had the opportunity to ask Sam Rockwell a number of questions about the film and his character, Justin Hammer, but I just had to ask him about the short film that he made with Justin Long and The Red-Headed League, Robin's Big Date, in which Rockwell plays "The Bat-Man" as a cocky, cock-blocking braggart.

Rockwell had been in "interview mode" prior to my question, but he perked up quite a bit when I asked him if he had any plans to make a sequel. Rockwell said:

"Yeah, we're talking about doing a sequel to it, Justin and I. We're looking for a good Penguin, maybe a Riddler."

At first, I thought they were really were supposed to be Batman and Robin, but when the boyfriend comes up and asks who the "chumps" are, I thought maybe they were just cosplayers...
