We've previously heard conflicting reports about which Batsuit Robert Pattinson donned for his The Batman screen test, with director Matt Reeves saying it was Val Kilmer's costume and the actor himself claiming it was George Clooney's. Well, it turns out he may have actually worn all of them!
In the video below, Pattinson says he tried on every Batsuit (aside from Adam West's), but only Clooney's cowl fit his head. Because these costumes were made for different actors, he probably had to try on various pieces of the Batsuits in order to give studio bosses some idea of what he'd look like suited up as the World's Greatest Detective.
It sounds like our new Dark Knight even got hands on with the infamous Bat-nipples, and it goes without saying that we hope this footage is one day released. We've previously seen Henry Cavill in Christopher Reeve's Superman costume and Christian Bale in Val Kilmer's Batman Forever Batsuit, so it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility!
The Batman finds the Caped Crusader in his early years, struggling to balance rage with righteousness as he investigates a disturbing mystery that has terrorized Gotham City. Rumour has it critics are already attending screenings for the DC Comics adaptation, so we may get reactions soon.
Check out Pattinson's comments in the video below and stay tuned for more on The Batman ahead of its big screen release on March 4.
