THE BATMAN Tie-In Website Reveal A Closer Look At The Movie's Reimagined Batcave

The Batman is clearly taking inspiration from the comic books, but also appears to be something of a reinvention for the World's Greatest Detective. The trailers, for example, have suggested that rather than a traditional Batcave, Bruce Wayne will be using an abandoned subway or train depot owned by his family, and we now have a much closer look at this base of operations.

Thanks to a tie-in website (it can only be accessed in certain parts of Europe, unfortunately), we now have a closer look at the Caped Crusader's base. It's pretty simple and far from what we're used to seeing on the page, but that's probably to be expected during "Year Two" of this Batman's career.

As time passes, we could see the hero move on to somewhere a little more technologically advanced to work, but that could be too much of a departure from the grounded, gritty tone director Matt Reeves is going for. A recently revealed LEGO set has suggested that The Riddler manages to gain access to the Batcave, so Bruce could be forced to move on following that clash.

There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding The Batman, though some fans were a little unhappy with the news that it will be PG-13 instead of R-Rated. The trailers pointed to a mature, Seven/Zodiac-esque take on the DC Comics character, and while we could still get that, it's hard not to wonder whether Reeves will have to pull his punches in order to stay within that family-friendly rating!

The Batman is set to be released in theaters on March 4.
