@Canon108 Ok maybe I read it wrong, it's a different building to film at but supposed to be the same building from the other movies? I thought something happened to Wayne Enterprises in the movies..

Yeah they keep changing it, although I remember seeing something on the Gotham News extra for Dark Knight saying this was for Wayne Enterprises International Division.

As for the one from Batman Begins, they probably decided after the Narrows Attack that it was too dangerous centralize the monorail in one place.

Its worth noting that this building (still under construction) was the same building in which Batman and the Joker had their final scene in The Dark Knight.

Gotham tonight #6 (text across the bottom)
"Construction begins on 100-story Gotham International Towers"

Could one of these be Trump Tower? (which the Joker was in while it was under construction)

You can find these on the Blu-ray of Dark Knight.

That is one thing that annoys me, as the building looked so different between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, which didn't make sense as Wayne Tower and the mono rail was such a pivotal point in BB.

I like it. Though Unionjack makes a very good point.

My only guess is the building changes to match the tone of the film.

At least it's not as big a change as the last building. The first Wayne Enterprises looked nothing like the second. The second and this one look somewhat similar.

If this is the building they filmed the Joker's last scenes in though I hope there's at least some mention of it in the film, just like a passing mention or something, since I'm guessing (if the leaked opening info is to be believed) there may be a big time gap in the film they could just comment on the new HQ and perhaps something about what went down in there with the Joker.

Or, since it looks kinda similar, they could just not mention it.

@ACira i agree with you.

I did read one theory on the net, which was after the mono rail exploded at the end of BB, then train could have damaged the foundations of Wayne tower, hence the change. I just think that one line can make all the difference!!

Nice, baller status. I'm sure Wayne Enterprises, probably being a billion dollar company (or more), have several corporate buildings as most large corporations do. I wouldn't bother reading too much into the fact that buildings may be slightly different in the other movies; especially because these are not real locations.
bhorwith22
bhorwith22 - 10/28/2011, 10:29 AM
@Unionjack That wouldn't work, because in a scene right after it, they are clearly in the same Wayne Tower again. The builing in Dark Knight was never mentioned as "Wayne Tower," so obviously its a different building. Like I said, they probably thought it was too dangerous to centralize the monorail in one location after Batman Begins.

Batman is really from Metropolis. That's why he hasn't produced his birth certificate, yet.

does anybody else notice that there are two different buildings here? the first two pictures are of Trump tower on 5th avenue on the East side of Manhattan and the third is on the West Side near Columbus circle which is half residential and half hotel.
