If you’re anything like me, then you’ll be craving every drop of news that hits the internet for the new Batman movie. If that is true, then this Flickr photo set will really make you happy.

A collection of photos that seems to be continually growing, this Flickr photo set depicts the outdoor sets of Chicago, aka Gotham City. With shots including Gary Oldman, Anthony Michael Hall and Aaron Eckhart, this is definitely worth a look.

The photos also sparked in me renewed vigor for the movie that is set to debut July of 08. Not only have the casting directors nailed Jim Gordon right on the head with the inimitable Gary Oldman, but they’ve followed it up with a perfect choice for Harvey Dent. Those familiar with the Batman story-arcs will be well aware of Dent’s importance, as he eventually becomes the villain Two Face.

We’re pretty certain as well that that change will be happening sometime in >the Dark Knight, with special effects company Framestore CFC in line to do some work on Aaron Eckhart’s face.

My postulating aside though, hype for Batman the Dark Knight continues to grow, and the months continue to roll away until one of the movies of our lifetime makes it to the big screens.
