Scarecrow back for "The Dark Knight" ?!

IESB.net sat down and talked with Cillian Murphy about his possible return for the Batman Begins sequel, "The Dark Knight".
Of course, they had to ask if the Scarecrow would be returning to Gotham in The Dark Knight.

The biggest question was if the Scarecrow would return to Gotham in The Dark Knight?

The question, Are we going to see Scarecrow come back in The Dark Knight? The answer, "I can’t comment on that." Hmmm, interesting, this is the way I look at it, if I would've asked him if he was in the upcoming, let’s say, Transformers, he would say no, right? Well, if he wasn't going to be in The Dark Knight he would simply say the same thing, no I am not. So why would he say he cannot comment?

As early as August of 2005, Cillian was very open about the possibilty of coming back for a sequel and went on record saying, "If they decide to make another Batman I'd love to be in it. The main attraction to me for that film was Chris Nolan directing it, but I don't know what I'm gonna do next…" and also admitted that he has signed on for more films "I think they have options on us, yes," said Murphy.
