When the Great Collapse happens, you'll STILL be moaning about "Batfleck"!

It's officially over.

Let the poor man go.

@UltimaRex - Plus Affleck was great, problem was the script

@dracula - Affleck was even worse than Clooney. His bloated face from his drinking made him the worst looking Batman ever. No man should play Batman when he rides in the back of a car, bawling like a baby and stuffing his fat face with fast food as he is driven to rehab.

Josh Gad is by no means my first choice for The Penguin but I wouldn’t complain if he were cast. My cents, I’d put frequent Matt Reeves collaborator Andy Serkis in the role, or John Goodman for an older take on the character.

@DetectiveCinema - If he hadn't died Philip Seymour Hoffman would have been perfect for Penguin

@DetectiveCinema - Serkis would do the role justice, for sure:

The script will be cut down, whether before or after the movie has been shot. It's standard business. Heck, read the original Django Unchained script (which gets even darker than the movie turned out as is), and that movie still ended up at 2 hours 45 minutes.

But please, keep Josh Gad away from this project with a ten foot pole.

@MosquitoFarmer - Philip Seymour Hoffman would have been perfect

@dracula - Agreed. He was the top choice fan casting for the Nolan-verse following The Dark Knight. As far as the Nolan films, I think there should have been one more before The Dark Knight Rises. And the reported news that Warner Bros. wanted Leonardo DiCaprio as The Riddler (after Inception came out), well I'd have been really down with that.

@MosquitoFarmer - DiCaprio would have made a great Riddler. Probably would have never been used, but if we were to have gotten a Nolan style Mr. Freeze I could see Tobin Bell

@dracula - I never would have thunk it up, but that's pretty inspired casting.

As long as its a good make it as long as you want. Hope we see Catwoman, every great Noir film needs a fem fatal. It will be interesting to see a more detective themed Batman movie, especially if we dig deep into Batman's Psychology. Only version of Batman to really do that is Gotham

im gonna miss this show

@dracula - or Talia
dracula
dracula - 2/2/2019, 3:01 AM
@Cheldo - Talia is great, but Catwoman is better, plus if they do Talia, then they need to include Ra's and Ra's has had a lot of exposure lately, obviously Batman Begins, Arrow Season 3, Gotham Season 4.
