Trailer Battle: GOTHAM vs. THE FLASH vs. CONSTANTINE

Trailer Battle: GOTHAM vs. THE FLASH vs. CONSTANTINE

We've recently had full trailers for 3 upcoming tv shows based on popular DC Comics characters: Fox's batman prequel series, The CW's Flash-focused Arrow spin-off, and NBC's small screen take on Hellblazer. All seemed to go down pretty well, but which stood out most to you?

"Based on the wildly popular comic book series “Hellblazer” from DC Comics, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan, “Criminal Minds”) specializes in giving hell… hell. Armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and his wickedly naughty wit, he fights the good fight — or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he’s decided to leave his do-gooder life behind, but when demons target Liv (Lucy Griffiths, “True Blood”), the daughter of one of Constantine’s oldest friends, he’s reluctantly thrust back into the fray – and he’ll do whatever it takes to save her. Before long, it’s revealed that Liv’s “second sight” — an ability to see the worlds behind our world and predict supernatural occurrences — is a threat to a mysterious new evil that’s rising in the shadows. Now it’s not just Liv who needs protection; the angels are starting to get worried too. So, together, Constantine and Liv must use her power and his skills to travel the country, find the demons that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows… maybe there’s hope for him and his soul after all."

Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world’s greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon’s story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world’s most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker. GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), GOTHAM follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

Vote below...and remember, you may well be looking forward to one of these more than the other two, but we want to know which trailer you thought was best regardless of that.

For me Gotham is by far the best trailer..dunno if it'll be the best show, but it looks most professionally put together. The other two are cool, but have some issues.

Just watched the Gotham trailer again. Its actually hard to secure that line up. Constantine and Gotham is close, tho I'm more curious/interested/excited about Gotham. But they represented Constantine in cinematic fashion as well.

The budgeting looks steep on all these.

3.Constantine [every thing looks good from effect-acting-story wise but the trailer kinda feel's very long even it is smaller than Flash]

Either Constantine or Gotham. I don't feel like The Flash has as much to offer thematically-- judging by this trailer, at least.

The Flash, man. Gotham looks cool, Constantine isn't really my thing, but much respect to DC for branching out and trying to reach all kinds of different audiences with their super hero shows.
NeoBaggins

Cops didn't stand a chance against the Supernatural and Superhuman.

But in the end...

And let's face it, The Flash's trailer is kinda sloppy. Effects are pretty good, though.
