Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released to mostly negative reviews in 2016, but there's a lot to love about the movie, including heaps of epic scenes featuring the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel. Now, you'll be able to see even more of the iconic DC heroes in action thanks to an upcoming IMAX remaster.
As you can see in the trailer below, this version will have a wider picture ratio (similar to when you watch a movie on an IMAX screen), as well as improved colours for those watching in 4K.
Director Zack Snyder promised this was on the way, and it will hit HBO Max the same day as the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League. That a lot of content to delve into on March 18th, especially as this is the "Ultimate Edition." Those of you waiting on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, however, will be able to purchase it on March 23rd (there's no word on whether there are international release plans yet).
In the movie, it's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.
