BATMAN V SUPERMAN's LexCorp To Provide Free Wifi To NYCC 2015

Viral marketing for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman kicked off earlier this week, with the spotlight placed on the film's villain, Lex Luthor. Today, it continues as New York Comic Con has teamed with none other than LexCorp for a special treat for fans attending the event.

This week saw the launch of Alexander Luthor, Jr's (Jesse Eisenberg) Twitter account, as well as an article about the eccentric billionaire featured on Fortune Magazine's website.

Now, revealed via their official website, New York Comic Con has revealed that LexCorp will be providing free wifi for all who attend the annual event later this week, inside the Javitz Center, citing their belief that "LexCorp unites humanity through technology".

To those attending, In order to use the service in the convention center, "connect to the "LexCorp" network from the list of available networks. You will automatically be redirected to the LexCorp WiFi login page where you can enter your email address and click "CONNECT" to gain access to the network."

Interesting stuff, and a neat gift on the part of NYCC, and of course, LexCorp.

It's very likely that this is a precursor to something special for the fans in attendance, courtesy of LexCorp. So, be on the look out as we can expect more Batman v Superman news and viral marketing over coming 5 days as we draw closer to New York Comic Con 2015, which kicks off Thursday, October 8th, and runs through October 11th.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy, and Jason Momoa and opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.

I love this idea of marketing, sounds exactly like something Luthor would do to win some people over. Great find, @UrichLeeds!

@MisterBatfleck the chances of a new poster debuting seem pretty good, especially with this viral campaign going under way.

Other companies should learn a thing or two about Social and ethical responsibilities from LexCorp.

I know it's off topic but has Scott Eastwoods character been identified in Suicide Squad yet? Is he Deathstroke or just some random soldier? Seems to be a waste for just a random soldier in my opinion.

How many characters are in this movie? Will all characters be well thought-out like Lex's character seems to be? It would suck to have one deep character with a bunch of paper thin characters...Is this movie Lex Luthor or Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice??

Wait so Jesse Eisenberg's Lex is a junior? Does that mean there could be an older Lex who will emerge after his whiny son destroys half his company and is actually the Lex Luthor we know and love from Comics and Superman:TAS?!

Seriously though Jesse is sorely miscast. Kid can dream can't he.
