Even If You Hated BATMAN v SUPERMAN, You'll Be Impressed By This New VFX Reel

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may very well be this year's most divisive blockbuster, but even the movie's biggest haters won't be able to deny just how impressive this newly released VFX reel is.

Say what you will about Batman v Superman (and let's face it, there's a lot that can be said), but the visuals were amazing. Some were better than others obviously because Doomsday certainly didn't look that great, but this new VFX reel from Scanline VFX puts the spotlight on how they enhanced this world and created many of the locations most of us probably just assumed were actual places and sets!

The visuals in Snyder's movies are always pretty distinctive, but this video really emphasises just how different he made our world look to help create the DC Films Universe. Of course, the huge amount of special effects shots no doubt played a big role in why Batman v Superman's budget was so massive, something which has resulted in its impressive box office haul being considered "disappointing."

Anyway, watch the VFX reel below and then let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

The VFX is great. But man, the flood looked real. I'm weird, but that part stood out the most to me in that video.
