Jessie Eisenberg Teases Lex Luthor Bald Scene In BATMAN V SUPERMAN

The very first image of Jessie Eisenberg in Batman v Superman featured a bald Lex Luthor. However, each trailer features the CEO of LexCorp with long, voluminous hair. Apparently, there's a crucial scene in the film where the iconic villain loses his hair and it's great.

When asked about the differnt stills and marketing material for Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (particualrly about Lex's hair), Jessie Eisenberg described the scene where Lex loses his hair as the greatest scene in his career to date.  Said Eisenberg, "When you see the movie, you'll see. It's the greatest scene that I've ever gotten to take part in — it accounts for the change in hair."

As for the comic book fans that don't think he can do the role justice, Eisenberg admits that he finds that way of thinking a bit "disconcerting".  "
The only difference between this movie and everything else I've ever been in is this has an audience that has prior expectations, and that's the only thing that I find disconcerting because it feels like some people are occasionally ready to get angry at me for the part they haven't seen me play yet. It's bewildering."  Director Zack Snyder recently echoed these same sentiments, citing that what's been revealed in the trailers is only the tip of the iceberg.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in North American theaters on March 25, 2016.

I would just say ignorant "fans" in general. Comic fans have a reputation of judging an actor in a role well before the movie even comes out.

Are you talking about Lex or Thor?

He's sooooo unlikable it hurts. And I know he's playing an unlikable character, but I've liked past interpretations of Luthor even though he's an awful human being. I feel like Eisenberg can't separate his real life persona and personality from the character...maybe that's cause Eisenberg thinks his unlikable personality is perfect for Luthor, but I don't agree.

I'll wait to see the full performance. I just hate when Eisenberg speaks. It's pretentious.

I loved Rosenbaum's LL. He gave a tour de force performance.

"It's bewildering"

No Jesse, it's just typical fanboy behavior. Fanboys are generally a result of people feeling insufficient in some/many areas of their lives, and they look to validate themselves through material things such as films, comics, consoles etc..
With someone of the mental or physical age range that usually perpetuates this behavior, this validation becomes a psychological foil for what could be other shortcomings; as such, this foil needs be protected by unwavering loyalty, completing the cycle of self-validation.

With this method, you can go pretty quickly from someone with serious confidence issues to a brash, cocky person...just add internet access, an anonymous nickname and an avatar.

A lot of people are after Jessie Eisenberg. They want to see him fail as Lex Luthor. They are trying to burn him down, but instead it's just lighting a fire under him. And he's going to defy the odds just like WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will overcome 29 other WW Superstars in the Royal Rumble match to successfully retain the title and stick it to the McMahon family. BELIEVE THAT!!! #OneVsAll #RomanEmpire
