Variety report that Mattel and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have decided that their partnership will continue, and will produce a series of toys based on some of their big upcoming movies and tv shows. The deal will include the likenesses of the characters in
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the
Justice League movie that'll follow it, along with Warner Bros. TV series
Arrow and
The Flash. Also, Mattel noted their product line for Batman’s 75th anniversary this year, which includes 10-inch “Lights and Sounds” figures, Hot Wheels Batmobiles, an all-new 12-inch Batman figure, and more.
“We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Mattel and the Warner Bros. Consumer Products teams to collaborate on compelling product lines that support the many exciting DC Comics initiatives slated for the coming years including film, TV, games and comics,” said Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment.
