Over the past couple of months we've been getting new pics and details from Wired Magazine's faux interview with the Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) character from Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and now an Instagram user has come across a special edition of their January issue which features a new shot of the villain on the cover. There may be more new stuff inside the mag, so we'll update if anything else pops up.

“Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth.

As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman’s wrongs. The rivalry between them is furious, fueled by bitterness and vengeance, and nothing can dissuade them from waging this war. However, a dark new threat arises in the form of a third man: one who has a power greater than either of them to endanger the world and cause total destruction.

The superhero stand-off that the world has been waiting for is finally arriving in cinemas, with an all-star cast bringing to life the characters we all love. Zack Snyder (300) returns as director following the huge success of 2013’s Man of Steel, along with Henry Cavill (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) in the role of Superman. Also starring Ben Affleck (Gone Girl) as Batman, Amy Adams (American Hustle) as Lois Lane, and Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 7) as Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is an explosive, action-packed blockbuster that is sure to thrill DC fans everywhere.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016.

I really hate him as Lex. I hate his annoying Lex. So I'm not sure if that's good or bad casting.

So now people are gonna start to shit storm this pic of a fictional billionare that is posing like a rock star for a magazine huh?

@0megaDaGr0dd You must know better, since you are the king of double standarts of this site.

Tony Stark and Lex Luthor aren't remotely the same character.

I mean sure, they're both wealthy geniuses with a penchant for power armor, but personality wise they're quite different.

@MonsterSquad35 - Great gif! I so wanted that when I was a kid.

And, DC future looks bleak. Both in actual comics and movies. Dude doesn't look strong enough. Lex isn't a pussy.
AlaRebeIde
AlaRebeIde - 1/8/2016, 5:48 AM
@Indoorsman this is obviously a new take on the character, based on Lex Luthor Jr, the young clone of Lex Luthor that was a charming dude in the comics.
People like to deny this fact with the only purpose to hate on this movie.

Me? i found it refreshing.

@SirGoraf "Dude doesn't look strong enough."

So the only strength you value is physical strength?

@GrilledPopcorn

You hate him... thats the point of him being cast as the villain i guess. LOL.

As far as i have heard, he is suppose to be playing a person who comes out as an annoying person, were people would roll their eyes and go "oh grt here comes Lex". to the public eye.

While deep inside, he is a calculative, manipulative maniac.

@AlaRebedle

Dude you could have waited for a few people to actually shit on that pic before using that fail argument. Because now all you've done is come across as a salty butthurt fanboy. No one was shitting on that picture (well at least not his site.) And in comparison no one brought up the RDJ poster so again it just looks as though you're really butthurt and just trying to start a Marvel vs DC thing.

On topic.. I can't wait for him to cut his hair, he looked amazing in that bald pic Snyder posted a few months ago.

I still don't understand if that wig is supposed to be Lex wearing a wig or just his real hair...

@Darth258

It looks like real hair on this cover, but looks wiggy in other shots. At first I thought it was supposed to be an obvious wig, but then there's that thing about him losing his hair at some point. So I dunno.

Well, he'll have a villainous turn and lose his hair and eventually turn into "comic book Lex." I assume this initial version of him is just to make his transformation seem more dramatic.

AlaRebeIde - 1/8/2016, 7:00 AM
@Lilvic92 Dafuq you are talking about?
"I wasn't sold until I saw the sunglasses and black leather jacket."
(If you can get that one, then you are bad at detecting sarcasm)
"Jesse Eisenberg: Super Model."
(This one is just for the kicks, but a real hater can go along repeating shit like this at nausea)
"And in comparison no one brought up the RDJ poster so again it just looks as though you're really butthurt and just trying to start a Marvel vs DC thing."

How I´m trying to start a Marvel vs DC thing? did i complain about that Iron Man cover? i think it was genius, the same thing goes to the viral campaign that WB its doing with Lex outside the movie.
I'm "bitching" about the hypocrisy of some users of this site, thats all.

For us CBM nerds yeah we could say I see that it kinda makes sense. But at the same time they never established original Lex in the universe to already have a clone would not make any sense. Unless they are pushing for the origin of Lex's story.

But for people WHO aren't CBMers and only recognize Lex Luthor from other movies or cartoons. There reaction might not be the same I'm thinking this reaction.

@SirGoraf you know who else look like a silly weak pussy? Hitler. And look how the history turn out.
My point is that even if someone looks weak, that doesn´t make him harmless.
AlaRebeIde
AlaRebeIde - 1/8/2016, 7:11 AM
@Matador this isn't a clone, it's based on that iteration of the character but not a carbon copy, you already answer yourself, this is an Origin story for Lex and all the other characters that are introduced in this world.
I think people are not dumb to fail to understand that this is a new universe and a fresh take of iconic characters.
