POLL: How Do You Feel About Gal Gadot Being Cast As WONDER WOMAN?

You were all extremely vocal when the news broke that Fast & Furious star Gal Gadot has been chosen to play 'Wonder Woman' in Batman Vs. Superman, but now that you've had some time to let it sink in, how do you all feel about her playing the iconic DC character?

There had been rumours, but it was finally made official earlier this week; Wonder Woman will be joining Batman and Superman in 2015's Man of Steel follow-up! Despite having been around for over 70 years in the comic books and on the TV, the character has yet to receive the big screen treatment she so richly deserves. However, rather than being happy that the Amazonian Princess is FINALLY set to appear in a movie, the majority of fans were more concerned about Zack Snyder's casting decision. Does the former member of the Israeli army really have what it takes? (You can read my thoughts on her being cast in the movie by clicking HERE) Common sense says yes, but now that you've had some time to let it sink in over the past few days, we'd like to know how you currently feel about Gal Gadot taking on the role in Batman Vs. Superman!

The only thing right about her is her face. She looks like Diana, but she's too short, too skinny, and can't act worth a damn.

Better than fans fave Gina G.

She's very very pretty to me. Needs more weight though and i'm confident Snyder and Gym Jones will take care of that. Decent choice.

She has the exotic look, she is very beautiful, she is one of the better actors in the F&F franchise, she served in the Israeli military, and she will undoubtably gain some muscle for the role. I think this is great casting.

Not a single curve.

After being certain Heath Ledger would be a terrible Joker I no longer trust myself to decide anything. I'll sit in the back and think happy thoughts.

She'll do amazing. I think the subtle accent will be a nice touch and they'll bulk her up before shooting. I think it was a great choice. I personally would have liked to see Alexandra Daddario as Wonder Woman but Gal will be superb.

She has yet to be in anything in which one can grade her caliber of acting skills so I am just going to wait and see. The woman is beautiful no doubt and whole skinny complaint can be solved by an intense work out regiment. Something along the lines that the cast of Man of Steel had to endure. I am excited but at the same time a little cautious about this casting decision. My choice was Gemma Ateron.

Guys.... we are finally getting a wonder woman and the choice could have been bad... this is a decent choice. Lets stick it out and see what we get. Just be happy we are FINALLY getting a live-action Diana Prince.

She'll be good, all she has to do is get cut up like Linda Hamilton did for Terminator 2. And being short they can work around that problem. Look at Tom Cruise 😄😄😄

I think the whole Gina Carano decision was dropped after her and Henry Cavill broke up. And rumor has it that Jamie Alexander has some sort of "non compete" clause in her contract with Marvel. So I don't know now if that hurts the chances of Idris Elba ever being cast as John Stewart.

She looks like Captain America, before the Super soldier Serum.

@andypand89 Now that is something along the lines I'm expecting or they use a variant costume of Wonder Woman in the animated film Justice Leauge: WAR.

I thought Cavill was too small for Superman when he was cast...

As if you were going to support anything DC related, I have seen you on past articles and you are a straight up troll.

She's pretty. Cavill needed work in the gym before he was really believable as Supes. Think once she works out a bit, she'll look more like the ideal WW.

Yawn. Another comic book character is cast and there is predictable outrage over the choice. I trust the filmmakers who know what they need for their project way more than the people who think Amazonian women with cartoon-drawn faces and Oscar caliber skills grow on trees. She has impressed me no more or less than Jamie Alexander or any other recent fan favorite for the role. Wait and see for me.

Acting wise she honestly isn't that great, someone much better could have been chosen but she does have an exotic look.

All she has to go is eat some chicken and hit the gym

Gina Carano would have been a terrible choice, the girls lines were dubbed over on the movie Haywire! What does that tell you about her acting skills!
SageMode

What's interesting/sad about this, is that there's more people concerned about her physique being a hindrance for WW and not her "limited" acting skills. Smh..........

Gadot is going to bring that exotic beauty that Diana *needs*. I find the skinny criticisms for her perplexing since Jamie Alexander, while great as Sif, seems too thin-lipped and is even bonier than Gal.

LET'S GO GADOT!!!

At least Scarlett Johansson could act when she was cast as Widow.
Wonder Woman deserves a lot better actress. Giving a great character to a poor actress is a let down. Looks aren't everything DC, just look at Dane DeHann as Harry Osborne

She has the body of a 12 yr old boy. I hope she bulks up.
