What I Want To See From Batfleck

We've seen Batman on the big screen before, but what should this new Batman be portrayed in the new DC Cinematic Universe?

Ben Affleck is Batman. There now that that's established, how is he going to differentiate himself from the likes of Christian Bale's Batman? It has already been announced that this new Batman would be older and more experienced. Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy is beloved, but it is merely one incarnation of this beloved hero. So here are three things I want to see out of Ben Affleck's Batman.

1. World's Greatest Detective

One thing that I thought was lacking in Nolan's trilogy was the fact that Batman is a detective. Throughout the trilogy, Batman was without a doubt a bad-ass crime fighter, but there was very little detective work that went on. Probably the closest thing to detective work was in The Dark Knight when Bruce was examining the different bullet holes to determine if there was a fingerprint left on the bullet found at a crime scene linked to Joker.
The Arkham games have managed to encompass Batman's detective side very well and it has really added to Batman's over all superiority to a normal man. The use of infrared goggles or black light to discover prints from a crime boss would definitely fit well into this new universe and establish Batman's intellectual dominance in addition to his physical dominance.

2. Iconic Gadgeteer

BATARANGS! Batman has been known for using a wide array of gadgets throughout his publication history, but the constant of them has been the batarang. Just think of the creative possibilities! One batarang explodes on impact, another releases knock out gas and a third straight up cuts into its victim's flesh! There is a world of possibilities when it comes to what is inside of Batman's utility belt!

3. Meta-human Combatant

Obviously the biggest thing that was missing from Nolan's Trilogy was all of Batman's meta-human villains. Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Man Bat, Clayface and more were excluded because that wasn't what Bale's Batman was about. If Batman is presumably going up against the Man of Steel, he can go up against other meta-humans. I would take this new Batman to a completely different place and force him to show, once again, he is the ultra human.
Many people believe Mr.Freeze deserves redemption from Batman and Robin, but I would personally love to see Poison Ivy as a first villain so this new Batman has to go through the same moral struggle of hitting a woman that Tim Burton's Batman went through when fighting Catwoman. Plus, with new CGI technology, Poison Ivy completely covering Gotham in wildlife would quite a sight.

So that's what I have to say on what I think this new Batman should do in this freshly started universe being supplied to him. Thanks for reading the whole thing (as I assume you have since you're reading the last paragraph) and comment below if you have any other suggestions.

I should probably note that the eyes wouldn't glow, they would just be white like in most comics and animation.

White eyes? Really? I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. Not everything translates well from comics to movies, something you fanboys can't seem to get through your heads. Unless there is a specific reason for the white eyes (such as in TDK when they were used as a screen to display the sonar images from the phone sonar system), then they're pointless. Why would he put white eyes in the cowl? Now, if they have Batman design some kind of sonar or video system that needs to be displayed inside the mask, then having the eyeholes covered with a video/sonar screen that gives the appearance of white eyes is fine. Otherwise, he needs eyeholes to see through, not white eyes. (If I was guessing, I would bet that the white eyes were used at first just because they were easier to draw than trying to draw his real eyes inside the mask.)

Yes really, i've explained before that the white eyes would feature a variety of lense such as thermal vision, infrared vision, night vision, etc.

He mentions that he wants a more detective batman.
also because the the concept of the white eyes has never been done on the big screen, and zach snyder is a great visual director, im sure he could pull it off.

it'll make batman appear more menacing, cause you'll never see where he's looking (unless your superman using x-ray vision).

Plus, dont you think luthor would be smart enough to discover his identity based on an eye scan alone? with someone the brains of luthor all he'd need is a video or photo of the bats and he could zoom on the eyes and try to find a match. modern government agencies have this stuff, and im sure luthor owns fancy HQ/HD security cameras.
