BIRDS OF PREY Star Margot Robbie Unveils The Full Title Of The Movie, And It's A Doozy!
Margot Robbie has taken to social media to share the full title of Warner Bros. and director Cathy Yan's upcoming Birds of Prey movie, and it's... certainly something! Find out what it is after the jump...
The trades had already suggested that "Birds of Prey" was not actually the final title of Warner Bros.' R-rated "girl gang" movie, and now star Margot Robbie has confirmed it.
The Academy Award-nominated Suicide Squad actress shared the first page of Christina Hodson's script to her Instagram, along with the reveal that the the full title of the film will be: Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn).
Of course, most people will still be referring to the movie as Birds of Prey, but just in case you think Robbie was simply having some fun with her followers here, Warner Bros. followed up her post with this Tweet.
The title seemingly hints that we'll catch up with Harley when she's freed herself from a highly destructive relationship with The Joker, although Jared Leto is not expected to reprise his role for this movie.
Robbie joins Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain and Ewan Mcgregor as the villainous Black Mask.
Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) hits theaters on February 7, 2020.
