BLACK PANTHER Open Casting Call May Provide Some Hints About The Movie's Plot
A new open casting call for Marvel's Black Panther is looking for actors to play some very specific types of background characters. Could this hint at certain elements of the story? See what you think...
SMTV has picked up on an open casting call for Ryan Coogler's Black Panther, which might give us an idea of one particular aspect of the plot. It seems Marvel is looking for men, women, and children to play Wakandans (no surprise there), as well as Korean and Filipino men and women for street scenes - but here's the interesting bit: they're also searching for people of all ethnicities (with real world weaponry experience) to play CIA agents.
Though the majority of the story will most likley play out in Wakanda, this does seem to confirm that T'Challa will be returning to the US at some point - unless of course the CIA make the trip to Panther's homeland in an effort to bring him in for his actions in Captain America: Civil War. Either way, it definitely looks like we're going to witness the ramifications of T'Challa aiding Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes in the character's solo big screen outing.
Black Panther stars Chadwick Bosema, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Forest Whitaker Daniel Keluuya and Winston Duke, and is expected to commence production in January.
