We've seen quite a lot of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever merchandise and promo art find its way online over the past few weeks, and this latest LEGO set may give us some idea of what to expect from one of the upcoming sequel's biggest action set pieces.

Potential spoilers ahead.

Instagram user underscorezeus has shared a couple of photos of the "War on The Water" set, which depicts Wakandans M'Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the new Black Panther (whoever it may be) alongside Ironheart (Dominique Thorne) in her MK II armor, facing-off against King Namor (Tenoch Huerta).

While we have seen previous LEGO sets that didn't reflect the events of the movies themselves, a shot from the Wakanda Forever teaser trailer showed members of the Dora Milaje and Atlanteans Talocaneans preparing to do battle on what appeared to be a large sea vessel like the one shown here, so there's a decent chance this war on the water will take place in the film.

Check out the images in the link below, and let us know what you think.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters on November 11.

Shuri is being put front and center

102% obvious she is the black panther, with a 2% margin of error

Does Talocaneans imply they're from another part of the dimension of Ta Lo?
GhostDog
GhostDog - 9/19/2022, 5:31 PM
@LiteraryJoe - na. Talocan is an underwater kingdom inspired by Tlālōcān, which means Place of Tlāloc, a paradise for those who died through drowning or lightning, and it’s ruled by said Aztec deity.

@GhostDog - That's awesome, see I thought it was Aztec-based, but I wasn't aware of the name and when I saw Ta Lo I was wondering if this is would wind up connected to the other realm with a water gate.

@LiteraryJoe - that's a clever (but maybe reaching) line of thinking. Could see Talocan be an otherdimensional place like Ta Lo though, and not just simply an undereater city

@bkmeijer1 - Only thing that made me wonder was because they said there were so many other places in the dimension Ta Lo is in when Shang and the others first got there.

With the near air-bending qualities in the forest my mind definitely reached to the water as the link.

Fire means...MEPHISTO 🤣

@LiteraryJoe - that would be fun to see. What's the Earth-based place or character gonna be though? The Thing?

@bkmeijer1 - Savage Land!

@GhostDog - so....thos has even less to do with Namor than I thought lol.

What nonsense.

@LiteraryJoe - that feels more like the element of Wood (one of the five Chinese elements), but it could still work

This seems to line up with scenes from the first trailer. The lego set itself looks bland, but this seems to more or less confirm that Shuri will be Black Panther.

1. Shuri is definitely Black Panther
2. We're definitely getting 2 Ironheart suits
3. That Okoye and Namor moment:

To all who are wondering is Shuri is the new Black Panther:

She is wearing the suit in the second picture lol.

Yeah, Shuri being the new Black Panther? That tracks.

Multiverse, hidden relatives, resurrections or whatever are fun to speculate about, but it's just the most reliable solution to go with Shuri. And also, dare I say it, a boring one.

@bkmeijer1 - I would’ve liked time traveling son/descendant kinda like iron lad is to Reed being the kid version of kang

bkmeijer1 - 9/20/2022, 4:16 AM
@ShimmyShimmyYA - me too. Either just a T'Challa variant or his son, whether that was through timetravel or just from back when he wasn't Black Panther yet.

Okoye, M'Baku and Shuri must inherit the title of Black Panther as protectors of Wakanda. The Council of Panthers.
