We already know that the cast of Black Panther is incredible, but are you prepared for it to get even better? Well, it just did with the addition of Sterling K. Brown as N'Jobu, a character Marvel describes only as a figure from T'Challa's past. I've racked my brains and checked online and can see no mention of this guy in the comic books, so it's unclear whether it's a codename or an entirely new creation.
Regardless of his role in Black Panther, we can definitely expect to be impressed by his performance based on the actor's past work. He recently won an Emmy Award and was nominated for a Golden Globe for portraying Christopher Darden in The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, while that series also earned him Screen Actors Guild and NAACP Image award nominations. Currently, he stars in This Is Us. Supernatural and Person of Interest are among his other small screen credits.
Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. The film arrives in theaters on February 16th, 2018. What do you guys think about this latest addition?
