Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Confirms BLACK ADAM Writer; Says The SHAZAM Villain Is "In His Bones"
We recently got word that Adam Sztykiel (Undateable, We're The Millers 2) was in final negotiations to write the Black Adam movie, and now Dwayne Johnson has confirmed the news with an enthusiastic Tweet.
Following a recent report that Undateable creator Adam Sztykiel was in final negotiations to pen the solo Black Adam movie, star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has confirmed that the writer has officially joined the project.
Johnson sent out the following Tweet earlier tonight, welcoming Sztykiel on board and expressing his excitement to "expand the DC Universe."
Sztykiel has already worked on several projects for New Line; most of 'em comedies such as Spy Guys, Due Date and We’re the Millers 2 - however, The Rock is confident they've found the right man for the job:
There's no director attached just yet, but Black Adam will be produced by Johnson and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions, along with Beau Flynn of the Flynn Picture Company.
The character is currently rumored to make his debut in Suicide Squad 2.
