The home release of Black Panther is just a few days away, and now another deleted scene from film has found its way online, featuring a young T'Challa with his royal father. Hit the jump to check it out.

On May 8th, Black Panther will be available Digital HD, and a week later the acclaimed film will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD. While many are eager just to enjoy the movie from the comfort of their homes, there will be plenty of other content on the digital and physical copies, including several deleted scenes.

A few of the film’s deleted scenes have already found their way online, but now a brand-new sequence has been revealed via Yahoo.

This latest scene follows a young T’Chaka who is spotted playing in the catacombs with Nakia by his father. However, instead of reprimanding him, T’Chaka bonds with his son and briefly discusses the burden of being a king.

Apparently, this scene was intended to follow the film’s opening which saw T’Chaka murder his own brother, and would have acted as a contrast to Killmonger's childhood.

I liked this one more than the U.N. scene. All the flashback scenes were really well done.

I feel like there's a lot of scenes that were cut from this film that Coogler HAD to cut in the interest of time and pacing, because it shows in some scenes. Ross' character in particular just feels so quick and breezy, the last shot we see of him in the movie(post credits not withstanding) is him running away in Shuri's lab. That's the last shot of one of your main supporting characters, I mean, you shouldn't have to watch a post credits scene to have closure to one of your main characters, especially if you built this mini arc for them.

I like the movie, but not nearly to the extent of others, so I'm hoping for the sequel the CGI and editing allows Coogler's vision to come to life in a more wholesome way. He did what he wanted to on the first film, but the special effects failed him, and I just feel his entire vision for EVERY character was cut down because there was just too much footage. I genuinely would've watched a four hour cut if it meant further exploration of every character. But hey, that's just me, not like Marvel should pander to ONE dude who thought the movie was just simply good.

@ScarletWarlock - From what I heard on a few podcasts and interviews Nate Moore and Coogler did, A LOT WAS cut in the interest of pacing and time. Moore and Coogler fought for a lot as well.

With Feige saying BP 2 happens when Ryan wants it to happen, it makes me confident he understands how much of Coogler's vision made the first work so well. Its the Nolan treatment. They're really acknowledging how special Coog is.

I think the BP CGI suffered due to IW. IW had Marvel's best working on it in that department. With both being shot and editied and the same time, idk. BP 2 should have more opportunity there.

I would've watched a four hour cut no doubt. Just knowing they have four hours of footage makes me want to see it so bad. I hope the sequel is at least 2 hr 20- 30 min. I'm glad to hear they already have an idea lf where they want to go. Coogler created a world that you want to see so much of. I think the film was great but Marvel let Coogler down in a few areas that would've catapulted it even more.

Funny how T'challa Says that this suit is his design but his father wears it during his time as Black Panther. T'challa made that? as a kid? damn.

With a deleted scene being so good, it's a testament to the quality of the film. They might have removed this because they would have to spend even more time with T'Challa dealing with the "difficult decision" his father had to make actually was. Still a great scene though.
