If a new report is to be believed, Marvel Studios has high hopes for Black Widow (which may or may not actually be a female-led team-up movie). Apparently, Scarlett Johansson looks set to score a $25 million payday to reprise the role of Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers 4 and the belief is that this movie could end up being even bigger than Wonder Woman

This movie would make Johansson the highest paid actress in Hollywood and if the movie passes $900 million worldwide (which is a stretch unless it really does use characters like Valkyrie and Captain Marvel), she'll score a nice little bonus as well. Wonder Woman made a total of $821 million at the worldwide box office last year so the number is feasible but it depends on a number of factors.

Black Widow recently landed a writer and there have been rumours that it could be in
theaters by 2020. With that in mind, we'll no doubt hear more soon but these new details definitely leave us with plenty to think about in the meantime! Do you guys think it stands a change of being a mega-sized hit? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section below.
