I am a Captain America(Steve Rogers) fan. I have been since I was a child and even though I'm not a 100% up to date on his current continuity, I remember something big from the 60's. His Cartoon Theme.
Now I'm sure there's plenty of you who know where I am going and might not like it a single bit but with Marvel being the way it is it's something I want to see happen. It's the most memorable thing to me about Cap. and I know that's not a great thing, but I could imagine it being plausible.
We have the U.S.O. side story that I'll admit is OK, not bad, but not great either. But it gave me a thought, since they're going to have Cap on stage, why not have some U.S.O. Gals sing the 60's theme, granted in reality it wouldn't be invented for around another 40 years but still I thought it would be a good homage to the fans.
Now I understand not everyone is a fan of that cartoon but for a while it was a key item in presenting Captain America to a new audience and fresh faces while sticking true to the current established Marvel Comics Continuity. I understand this follows suit along with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk(if you would like to count the amazing 70's theme.) and I feel if they do that with characters it's subtle fan service would feel like good ol' Marvel saying "Hey everybody, remember this? we thought you did, enjoy the show" and to me that's a very positive thing to do.
I hope there's some that might agree, and I bet we can all agree we want the Captain America Film to be a great one and while we're sustaining of off: concept art, set photos, hopes for a trailer, and set reports. I think we (who want this included into the film) deserve it.
BY THE WAY: Congrats to Fans for the Captain America First Avenger uniform change, having the wings painted on his helmet is but 1 small step to making the suit better, now if only they change the color of his boots and gloves to Red then perfect.
Anyway sorry for boring you with my bad writing, but I wanted to get an Idea out there for something I believe in... At that I will leave you with a video from youtube user: Samthejester
