Look, I get it. There's a lot going on in Captain America: Civil War, and fantasizing that every superhero in the TV division is going to show up is almost 100% a waste of time. But that doesn't mean this movie can't do a lot for the MCU, and be the first movie to actively acknowledge what's going on on the smaller side of things.
1. Agent Carter
Via set photos, we now know that Peggy Carter will have died presumably by the beginning of this movie. While this is definitely sad, it does offer a chance to acknowledge the Agent Carter TV show, which by this point will be two seasons in. If a eulogy is shown, a line about her S.S.R. days under Chief Dooley would be appropriate, and even something as simple as burying her next to Edwin Jarvis would be a nice nod to their friendship. Peggy had a great dynamic with both of these characters in the show, and both people were important to her. She's noted for founding S.H.I.E.L.D., but her heroic days in it's parent agency should be touched upon as well.
2. Daredevil
While Nelson & Murdock is a very small firm in Daredevil, a lot of time will have passed between season one and season two, and some time will pass between season two and Captain America: Civil War as well. Plus, these guys are supposed to be some of the best lawyers in the country. I don't think it's much of a stretch to think that ol' Steve Rogers will have heard of them by this time, and recruit the two of them to be his lawyers after losing the Superhero Civil War to Iron Man. Even if we don't get to see him suit up as Daredevil, seeing Matt Murdock defend the first Avenger would be a sight to see (no pun intended), however briefly.
It's tough to say how Jessica Jones could connect since we haven't seen her series, but I think we'd all flip over just Matt, wouldn't we?
3. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
No, the beautiful Constance Zimmer isn't playing anyone from the comics--that we know of, anyway. It's been hinted that Rosalind Price is just an alias, but I'm not here for speculation. Even if she is just a made up character, she can still serve quite a unique purpose in Captain America: Civil War while also making an obvious connection to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I couldn't find the original article, but I read a scoop awhile back that stated that the Accords, mentioned in the Ant-Man post-credits scene, are actually completely taking the place of the Superhuman Registration Act. The Accords would be a body of governed officials who decide when and when not to enlist the services of the Avengers. Since Ms. Price is seen to be quite up there in ranks (writing the President's speech??), it would make perfect sense for her to be a part of this committee. Doesn't even need to have much dialogue, really.
Well, there you go, folks, a few ideas for y'all to munch on. Is it cool? Is it shit? Lemme know, bro.
