UPDATED: A breaking news report chronicling the aftermath of The Avengers' battle with Crossbones in Lagos.

WHIH World News is a fictitious new station based in Atlanta which functions to provide news coverage on the happenings in the MCU as both an in-film component and as a viral marketing tool. News anchors include Leslie Bibb as Christine Everhart, Olivia Munn as Chess Roberts and Al Madrigal as Will Adams.

Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Love that Ellis has been given more to do in the MCU...his appearances in AOS have been great!

The ATCU from AOS is mentionned.

It's probably about the Watchdogs.

@Growup - Would have been nice if Ellis had at least given a verbal nod to the "alien threat" as further reason why government-hero cooperation was necessary.

Also @MarkJulian, apologies about my Aquaman article. Didn't realize it was a duplicate.

@MattBellissimo - As far as I know it wasn't. Who deleted it and did they provide a link to the original?

@MarkJulian - I don't know who nor was I given a reason why, but I assume it was Josh. He had this article:

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/aquaman/james-wan-promises-a-fun-aquaman-very-different-in-tone-to-batman-v-a132677

I saw in his history that he viewed mine, then the one at the link. A few minutes later mine was gone.

@MattBellissimo - This is the second f*cking time Josh has done this to you.

I can understand how frustrated you must be feeling, because its somehow managing to piss ME off as well! You do this in your own free time, and with no monetary benefit...yet Josh see's that as a free pass to piggy back on your work? That's disgraceful behaviour on his part.

Loooooove this clever kind of marketing. It's small but its still smart world building.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Same, it may not be Agents of SHIELD or DD popping up in a movie but it's doing it's job of blending all aspects of the MCU into one place together and given that WHIH has shown up in films and continues to do so it makes the connections a lot stronger.

Hahaha she said she'll take Tony Stark and Cap too.

Threesome?

Cap needs to expand his sexual horizons haha

Would be cool if the strip across the bottom alluded to future movies. Are we getting US Agent or some other super soldier from those Abraham Erskine documents? Namor/Atlantis or some Inhuman thing from the South American Fossils?

It's sad that these fake news spots are doing more work to connect the MCU than its films or TV shows. :(

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - The shows do fairly well at connecting to the films and other shows. The movies not so much.
