Sebastian Stan On Whether He Hopes To Take Over As CAPTAIN AMERICA After CIVIL WAR

Sebastian Stan talks here about the possibility of Bucky taking over as Captain America as he did after the Civil War comic book, and drops some very interesting hints about the "brutal" fight sequences we should look forward to seeing in the highly anticipated 2016 movie...

With Chris Evans set to start shooting Avengers: Infinity War next year, we already know that the chances of Steve Rogers making it out of Captain America: Civil War alive are pretty good. Ultimately though, it makes sense that the mantle might be passed on to Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes as it was in the comics. However, the actor - who will next be seen in The Martian - doesn't sound too excited by the prospect. "No, I really wouldn't," he responded when We Got This Covered asked if he'd like to become the next Captain America. "Let me tell you, I think about that every day [Laughs]. It's so not up to me to be honest. I really enjoy my job over there, I'm really happy going to work and doing what I do, I love the character that I have...it's up to a lot of different things, and whatever Marvel decides, I'm game." Can someone, anybody, at least one single person, explain me why the flying Buck people come to a mainstream comicbook movie website literally called comicbookmovie.com and click on a comicbook movie article and decide to post a comment about SPORTS?

This doesn't have to happen so soon. There's time to build on the idea of Bucky becoming Cap. He shouldnt earn after appearing in just 2 films, as the TWS. He has much to do in terms of redemption. I liked how in the cartoon EMH, he decided to go out on his own and right his wrongs. I'd like to see him be a sort of shadow in the MCU who pops up when the situation is related to his revenge and redemption. Once he's done, then maybe he can take the mantle. Chris Evans is sooooo good as Cap, and he's willing to stay, you gotta milk this thing.

The Winter Soldier is an ntriguing enough character to stay relevant and popular without leaving his current identity

I always hated the bucky suit....the black is off. If he ever takes the mantle, keep the red white and blue

I never understood people wanting to kill off Captain America in the movies because it happened in the comics.

I find Steve Rogers infinitely more interesting than Captain America, and want to see Chris Evans' Steve Rogers for as long as possible before Sebastian Stan's Bucky. If they even pass the mantle.
