Captain America: New World Order is currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, and more photos from the movie's set have now started doing the rounds on social media.
Once again, there are no costumed Avengers on hand, though we do see the return of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez). The expectation is that he'll become the MCU's new Falcon in this movie, with the character following in his comic book counterpart's footsteps.
However, we expect a simplified origin story that sees him don Sam's old wings, removing the fantastical elements from the source material. Having both heroes take flight might seem a tad similar, but the possibility of these firm friends flying into action together is undeniably exciting.
Anthony Mackie was also spotted on set as Sam Wilson, but the biggest talking point is our first look at Shira Haas as Sabra. She appears to be decked out in tactical gear and we're guessing this is as close as she'll come to suiting up over the course of this adventure.
The new Captain America will need all the help he can get in New World Order, especially with The Leader on the loose. Harrison Ford, meanwhile, is playing President Thaddeus Ross.
Remember, he's no fan of the "heroes" who defied the Sokovia Accords, and he probably won't want Sam serving as Captain America in place of John Walker. Throw The Leader into the mix, however, and we can't help but wonder whether we'll see the President transform into Red Hulk - with that villain's assistance - in order to take matters into his own hands.
Fingers crossed upcoming set photos are a little more exciting, eh? After Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was shot primarily in The Volume, it's good to see Marvel Studios back in the real world, anyway.
Captain America: New World Order is set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.
