New Photos Of Captain America Filming Location

marvelmovienews.com has got some exclusive photos of a filming location in Manchester for "The First Avenger: Captain America".

The photos, were taken before filming began. They are using Manchester to take advantage of their American styled architecture. They will be using this to recreate the streets of 1940s New York. Expect more photos from these guys once filming begins, because they have photographers who will be keeping watch for the next few days.













Captain America will hit theaters July 22nd, 2010. The film will star Chris Evans as Captain America, Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, and Haley Atwell as Peggy Carter

unfortunately we most likely wont get any pics of cap or red skull out of this scene. This scene takes place in new york where very little time in the movie is intended to be spent. But hey we might get some of cap in the suit, but chances are if anything they will just be Chris Evans as Steve Rogers prior to being cap. As for Red Skull that is almost a guaranteed no, because what would the Red Skull be doing in New York?

@bleedthefreak Great find buddy.

But I think you spoke too soon on the not seeing Red Skull thing. Yes only a small part of the film will be set in New York. But the remaining of filming will not only be filmed in the UK, but will be set in the UK too.

So this won't be the only time they shoot on location. But a theory that may interfere with us not seeing Red Skull out in the open is because he seems like he may be behind doors doing the dirty work, while his henchman do the outdoor work. IDK

DCMarvelFreshman yeah didn't really put any thought into that part. Though Marvel is great at keeping things under wraps, I mean we didn't see any pics of Thor and Loki until they were officially released.

Trying to remember when the first images of Thor appeared on the net. Wasn't that long after principle photography finishing I think.

So hopefully around october - november time we should start to see the first tasty images from this film...I guess?
