Below you'll find some new Captain America: Civil War concept art from illustraor Andy Park. A lot of these early designs didn't turn out to be a million miles away from the costumes featured in the actual movie, but this alternate take on Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) definitely has a few notable differences, particularly where the mask is concerned.

Park says he was going for a "very tribal look", but would you have preferred this over the outfit worn by T'Challa in the film?

No matter what they did Black Panther was going to look great. It's simply a very hard design to [frick] up.

I like the yellow glint in the eye, otherwise I also prefer the final version.

I like this design as well as the one from the movie... They did a great job with Panther. Looking forward to seeing more of Panther soon!

Black Panther's suit in the MCU is one of those instances where the films version of the suit improves on the design from the comics.

Much props.

The film's suit does look a bit off at times. I think it was the helmet. Maybe a cowl would've worked better?
