SEGA's done it again. As we will see two new comic book movies in 2011, this old and well known video game company will also, again, go with the flow and will use the next summers blockbuster characters "Thor" and "Captain America" to adapt to home-consoles.

On Comic-Con, we were able to get a quick look at the "Thor - The video game" trailer but as far as I remember, it didn't show any game play elements.

Yesterday, the site comuterandvideogames.com put a trailer online which shows the first moving scenes from the upcoming game "Captain America: Super Soldier". This game seems to be an action-adventure which combines elements from games like "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "Batman: Arkham Asylum". You will play as Steve Rogers/Captain America and you will be hunting down the third reich terrorist group "Hydra".

Nothing more is known, but if SEGA continues to keep the story different from the movies and the quality level of previous games like Iron Man and Iron Man 2, then maybe this is, again, not the good and respectful comicbookgame every fan is waiting for.

But, take a look for yourself:

Kind regards,
from your friendly German sidekick,
Darantino

unfortunately both games will probably suck. movie games always do.

before anyone says anything, yes, i realize the Cap game isn't a movie adaptation, however, it DOES take place in the movie's world, and is being released in concert with the movie. thats the entire reason movie-games suck. the developers don't get enough time to perfect the game, because they're stuck with an impossible deadline.

Don't get your hopes up over these...

agreed...i made the mistake of buying the first ironman game a few years back. i played the first 30 minutes and sold it. i dont know what i was thinking. i will wait til all the facts are in for this game before going out and wasting any money.

Captain America: Super Soldier looks very good to me. It's written by comic scribe Christos Gage too! The first Iron Man game was... okay. The second one, less so. The best solo Marvel game I've played is probably Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. If they can take tips from that game, I think it'll work.
