Reportedly for the post-credits sequence, filming for Marvel's much-anticipated Captain America: The First Avenger, or possibly The Avengers, has been seen openly in New York's Times Square. Seen in several set images earlier today, here is captured footage from the shoot featuring the star Chris Evans & Samuel L. Jackson.



UPDATE: Another video capturing the actor has appeared online!



So much power in just a simple handshake!. Anyhow, look for Captain America: The First Avenger in theaters July 22!

That was pretty cool! I love how Fury shook Cap's hand, clearly out of respect for him. Also, I wonder what Coulson showed him..?

WTF did coulson have in that case, was it cap's shield. Definitely the ending of the movie because cap looks dazed and confused. I actually can't wait for this scene, its the final piece of the jigsaw and after that its all about the avengers baby

Cap's shield was in Coulsons case. This must happen before the Iron Man, HULK and THOR movies. He's literally, The First Avenger. My interest level just went up. But then again, if this scene exist in the Cap movie, something somewhere else has been rushed.

Fury in a cloth jacket, regular pants and shoes- For the win. He looked ridiculous with the leather trench and boots.

Fury shows Cap that he has his shield, that he is also a friend (for good) that he knew Howard Stark (Who made the shield) that this is a different time, that they won the war but he (Cap) is still needed to fight the war today...so how about it... *shake hands* Welcome to The Avengers.....then Cap looks around in awe of the modern world

scene looked cool, and like many have posted, it seems an odd spot to be filming it. agree - clark gregg shows the shield, and SLJ looked smooth. reeeeeeeally worked up to see this flick. then i'm going to lose my mind waiting for the avengers.

TheAntagonist He should definitely have some reaction to seeing the shield. Maybe in the final cut, cause right here, he barely shrugged his shoulders at it. Maybe he has an eye popping close up lol. Best reaction would be slightly raising his hand as if he wants to reach out, then Fury redirects his attention with more talk.
