Subject to how the t.v. series does...if it doesn't get it's proper share of ratings or viewership to justify a second season,then the race of Wally West will probably be irrelevant to any other canon but the show. The "back-up plan" mentioned by the producers, should the show not succeed was to integrate key characters into the "Arrow" series anyhow.
