Why did they pull Martian Manhunter from Justice League to put him on this team?

Why can't Martian Manhunter be on both teams?

MM>Cyborg!

They are really trying to push Cyborg as an "A" list character in the DC Universe. I am sure you will see a lot of Cyborg in the months to come

So stormwatch is apart of the regular DC universe now?

Yep, just like most of the Wildstorm characters.

@superwolverine: Stormwatch along with the rest of the Wildestorm universe including the Authority (seen in Stormwatch), Voodoo (getting her own title), Grifter (getting his own comic), and the Justice League will have several Stormwatch characters in it's 14 member line up.

That last thing about the justice League is actually untrue. I wish the edit button was still here.

Midnighter, Apollo and Hawksmoor! This comic might be EPIC! Haven't seen them since Mark Millar wrote the Authority

IMHO, Martian Manhunter DEFINITELY fits Stormwatch better than JLA. JLA never needed him. He was used as a part of some deliberate p.i.s. all the time just so he didn't seem like a secondary member. But even that never fooled me and plenty of others. He stood out like a training wheel on a hummer. Kinda like Wonder Man in the Avengers along side Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Cap and Vision. It's just not necessary. But MM really does look like he found his rightful place with Stormwatch for some reason i can't put my finger on. As for JLA, putting Cyborg in there is just as bad as having MM in it. I really feel like Black Lightning would make a better team member.

How do you choose Stormwatch over the Wildcats? Grifter, Zealot, Warblade, Voodoo and Spartan, Maul etc.. I mean come on now. Mix in Lord Emp and his sarcasm and your set. I know they are giving Grifter and Voodoo their own titles but the team as a whole in the first incarnation of series was money. It was X-Men on steroids and I am an X-Men fan from the days of the original Dark Phoenix series before it became the Wolverine show.

I wonder if DC will do something like make Wetworks agents of S.H.A.D.E. so they can fight monsters with Frankenstein...Here's a thought: Does this mean Kaizen Gamorra is now loose in the DC Universe as well?

tr8cthis- I entirely agree. But i think there's room for Wildcats along side Stormwatch. I just don't know why they aren't going that route. It's money in the bank, if you ask me.

Apollo, Midnighter AND Martian Manhunter?! [frick] yeah!

Definitely picking this one up.

Shaman- If Jim Lee really wants to reboot with a fresh look AND stick it to Marvel in an intelligent way he will push to reintroduce with Wildcats team concept. Is there enough room for a Justice League, Stormwatch AND Wildcats? I don't know but leaving a lot of those great characters out of the mix is a sad omission. And im sorry but that Wildcats cartoon was a disgrace to the comic series. Bring back Lord Emp and his cast of awesome characters. Imagine Void starting off then going insane/rouge with the team having to take her down. Or Voodoo slipping to the other side and them having to save the world against the Daemonite's? That's just epic stuff your leaving out.

One more thing. Zealot HAS to return. Wonder Woman without the nice streak. Are you serious! Now that is a TV series if I ever heard one!
