The follow-up to the NEW YORK TIMES #1 bestselling graphic novels SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE VOL. 1 and 2 is here! Written by J. Michael Straczynski with art by Ardian Syaf (BATGIRL), SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE VOL. 3 follows a young Clark Kent as he continues his journey toward becoming the World's Greatest Super Hero. After defeating villains terrestrial and beyond, Superman faces a threat that he can't simply outmuscle. A threat smarter, more cunning and deadly than he can imagine: the Luthors!

These two books aren't out untill 2015, but the covers are looking pretty good. If you can't wait till next year to get your Earth One fix, 'Teen Titans: Earth One, Volume One' will be out this November.

Decent books, to bad they take FOREVER to be released... Isn't Riddler suppose to be the main bad in Batman volume 2?

I loved Batman Earth One. Its was such a cool reimagining of the character.

I havent read the Superman one. Iheard Vol 1 is great but 2 sucked donkey balls.

@CerealKiller

I did actually. Its not better than the one we normally have but it gave the character a new boost. He isnt just there to make a snarky remark and patch Bruce up anymore.

It is so different and refreshing to see him this way but it took a bit for me to warm up to him though

Also "The Birthday Boy" is one of the creepiest Batman villians ive ever seen.

He should be used in the main universe

@CerealKiller

I heard the same but in the review i saw they made him alot colder. Something like he yells at Bruce for crying about his parents death or something like that...

Iam very excited for GOTHAM but that really turns me off.

The Earth One Alfred is badass. He even took out the Penguin by himself. Not to mention he has a prothestic leg.

@DarkGrifter

Unfortunately that's been warped into some stupid sounding "Trial of Princess Diana" or some shit.

Loved Earth One! I was very intrigued by the idea of an imperfect Batman and the fact that he still has things to learn.

@14thAvenger

Earth one is basically DC Ultimate except its released in big novel sized stories instead of monthly on going, in multiverse placement its right after the main N52 earth though its ignored so new readers dont get confused with cross overs with other universes

Love the covers. Enjoy these little series, interesting take on each hero and it allows some elasticity in canonical events. Plus Alfred is hard AF.

@bluedude What are you talking about, the artist on Superman Earth One is amazing. And his art inspires hope like it's supposed to.

@dracula The first one of these was published before the new 52 but all the books are set in a new universe that didn't change with the new 52. It's a very different universe from the other books. It's uncertain though if they're all set in the same universe. In Sueprman Earth One volume 2 there's a background shot of Batman Earth One in a paper but the Teen Titans series that's coming seems to not be in the same universe as the others so they might not all be in the same universe.

I didn't like supes first earth one and am hesitant to give the rest a go. I just don't think it really gave anything new to the method that we haven't seen before or hasn't been done better.
