Story: Arriving in Metropolis Green Lantern and Batman run into a brawl against the Man of Steel...Superman, meanwhile Barry Allen starts to doubt whether being the Flash is a good decision or not and Vic Stone continues to feel disconnected from his father.
Review: Now I reiterate I'm not a huge fan of the relaunch, seeing how other companies would benefit greatly from the relaunch *cough* Marvel *cough* So reading Justice League #1 i genially enjoyed it despite it feeling like it was more of a Secret Origin styled issue. Nothing new is brought to the table in terms of Darkseid's story. In terms of character I'm really starting to like Vic. His relationship with his father is really getting me.
Superman doesn't really seem like Superman to me, he is very irrational and acts too quick before he thinks. He attempt to beat batman while trying to get him to talk. This seemed rather brutal and out of character for Superman. Batman is still well written which is a plus. Flash and Hal are decently written but i still must say the best and most heartfelt scene was Vic's as he has his heart broken by his dad.
The issue is good it continues character themes started from the first issue, but i worry that we won't get anything about Darkseid until issue 4 or (if the arc is 12 issues) issue 7. All in all it's a dynamic character issue and was worth reading overall i enjoyed it a lot but because of the lack of movement on the Main Story I'm knocking it down a few points.
Overall score: 3/5, buy it see if the reboot is growing on you anymore.
