I gotta say, I dig Hawkeye's new look. But then again I always liked the Ultimates look as well.

im also diggin the hawkeye's new look , but him standing next to Cap, seems like maybe Cap needs just a little touch of modern.

Also, I live in Wilmington, NC where they will be shooting Iron Man 3 in a few weeks. I have several contacts associated with the studio and word is Marvel is potentially planning to film Cap 2 in Wilmington as well.

The cover looks pretty good. But the art inside it's subpar at best.

I'll second that and add once again for you young "hip" rebel types the American Flag doesn't need "updating" and neither does Cap's uniform. Deal with it.

Gusto is many, MANY derogatory, uncomplimentary, potentially UNSPEAKABLE things...but he is NOT wrong about America. America is the best.

Also, think that is my brother-in-law from Nebraska in that picture.

PatientZero; Name one that's so much better!

@PatientZero - You are correct in that America has an obesity problem. Also, those who are obese are also frequently classified as "in poverty". THAT is one of the biggest indicators that this is the greatest country in the world. In what other country do the obesity and "poverty" problems over lap?

Yeah, we got some problems right now, but we've still got a track record of being free, richer, and doing more good in the world than just about anybody. No offense to the UK, Australia, Canada, etc. Those countries are nice to.

@PatientZero - Worked on Germany and Japan. Kept North Korea from taking the whole peninsula. Got Iraq out of Kuwait. You gotta judge a nation by more than its most recent history, don't you think? Nations last a long time, usually.

Bombings for good aside, how about that Berlin Airlift? Tsunami relief? The Marshall Plan? General aid to third world nations? How about having a government and economy that's led to technological and financial innovations that have helped improve the standard of living the world over?

Um, of course having the segment of the population that is considered "poor" also be gerneally over weight is a sign a country has some good things going on. In most countries the poor are STARVING. In America, even the least of the population can comfortable feed themselves. They may eat the "wrong" stuff, but that's certainly better than having nothing to eat!

Right. During World War 1 and 2, part of the groups that run the world wanted to run through freedom and equality, and part of them wanted to run through fascism and suppression. Same thing for the Cold War and related conflicts. America was apparently each time run by groups (usually referred to collectively as "the citizens") that fortunately decided to go with the freedom and equality side. Now, sometimes the citizens organize themselves into various groups like corporations and political parties, and such, but never the less, these groups rise and fall. The citizens make the choices.

What is your evidence that the populace isn't in charge? The may make poor choices sometimes, but last time I checked, they were still voting in politicians they liked, and voting out ones they didn't.

I miss classic hawkeye. I don't like this new costume that they changed too just so the none comic fans that see the avengers movie get tempted to buy a comic will be able to recognize him

Gusto's argument is virtually UNCOUNTERABLE...um...incounterable? Cannot be countered? CANNOT BE COUNTERED! There you go.

Hey zero if you hate America so much you can leave any time. No one is keeping you here. I'm sure you would be much happier in a Central or South American country or maybe somewhere in the middle East would be more to your liking.

In other words: you don't like it, either try to do something positive to change it or GTFO.
