A common enemy would be the only thing to unite them. That image of the students being hauled off in chains is pretty strong. SHIELD did have sentinels in BOTM. Time to bring them down.

@Intruder: Picked up X-MeN:Gold.

It's supposed to be a 50th Anniversary special issue of the X-Men..and OOf,it is not really good.

Claremont did an in-continuity story-set in the aftermath of Logan and Mariko's called-off wedding and Rogue joining,and boy it looks like it was mailed in.

The only redeeming story is by Len"I'm Wolverine's Daddy" Wein adding on to Giant size X-Men 1...

@Nomis Well Marvel gave us a watered down Wolverine because of those movies. I really hate how the movies influence the comics at Marvel. That is one of the things I like about DC is that they don't do that.

I wouldn't say Wolverine has been watered down. He just experienced character growth.
Nice to see the human versus mutant war picking up steam. Whatever the end game of this plot is, it should tie back to Cable's prophecy laid out in X-Sanction.
