Marvel is pleased to present your first look at War Machine’s new duds debuting in the pages of Iron Man 2.0! From the power-house creative team of rising star writer Nick Spencer and legendary artist Barry Kitson, the single most advanced one-man weapon of conventional combat receives an upgrade! The now lighter, leaner and meaner Iron Man 2.0 is the result of an upgrade that Lt. Col. James Rhodes needs to survive! What new tricks will this new suit have in its sleeves? And just how will Rhodey adapt to his new role as Iron Man 2.0? Find out when Iron Man 2.0 storms store shelves everywhere!

The Son of Hulk will stake his claim in Skaar: King Of The Savage Land, the new limited series from writer Rob Williams, Brian Ching, and more! Ka-Zar has ruled the Savage Land for years, but Skaar is coming to challenge him for the throne and he’s not the only one either. Prepare for a showdown of epic proportions in the unforgiving jungle known as the Savage Land.

“The Savage Land is a time capsule containing every lost wonder in history, and Skaar is going to crack it wide open! Forgotten gods, dinosaurs, robots, and more than one lost Marvel hero rediscovered,” says Marvel Editor John Denning. “It’s gonna be an inter-tribal war that will literally reshape the landscape of the Marvel U!”

If Skaar wants to be king, he’ll have to contend with the most savage of creatures, the most barbaric of foes, and of course, the king of the Savage Land himself—Ka-Zar in Skaar: King Of The Savage Land! And if that’s not enough, expect two issues of Skaar: King Of The Savage Land in one month for twice the gamma-irradiated savagery! With covers by Ed McGuinness and Michael Komarck, these issues cannot be missed!

I WANNA SEE THIS ARMOR IN AVENGERS OR IRON MAN 3

Marvel is giving one of its core heroes a makeover. A new suit of Iron Man armor, set to debut following the conclusion of the “Stark Disassembled” arc in Matt Fraction & Salvador Larroca’s Invincible Iron Man, was revealed late last night at Marvel.com.

Billed as the brainchild of writer Fraction and Iron Man and Thor movie designer Ryan Meinerding, the new armor is a sleeker, slicker affair, which Fraction argues is a reflection of the ever-simplifying and streamlining nature of technology. “We were looking for something that felt as sleek and glossy as a sports car Tony Stark would covet,” he told the site.

Ol’ Shellhead takes his new look out for a spin beginning in April’s Invincible Iron Man #25. Cell phones, laptops, ect., everything nowadays is "how do we make it smaller, slimmer, sleeker?" Iron Man is doing the same.

I could be wrong because I haven't picked up a comic in a while but I think some of you are looking at the images backwards. What we saw in the movie, and the top image, is how the armor looked in his series from the 90's.

He will transition from that to the sleek, Iron Man look-a-like armor shown in the article above.
