COMICS: X-Men To Take On "First Class" Counterparts In May!

A teaser image released by Marvel comics shows the current team of X-Men taking on their 1960's younger selves this coming May! Hit the jump to check it out...

As you can see, the image shows the current incarnation of the mutant team facing off against the original lineup - Angel, Iceman, Cyclops, Marvel Girl and Beast - dressed in their classic uniforms. X-Men founder Professor X watches the two teams confront each other.



The project will launch in May 2011. No further information has been revealed. Seems like a clever way of bringing back the original X-Men to tie in with the movie, despite the fact that the only member of the original five pictured above who will be in X-Men: First Class is Beast!
