From Marvel.com:
"Marvel is pleased to present your first look at FF #1, from the superstar creative team of writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Steve Epting. The fight for tomorrow begins today! In the wake of the Human Torch’s heroic sacrifice, Marvel's first family has re-emerged as the Future Foundation. Spider-Man may their newest teammate, but who else has signed up to protect the future from itself? And what does their presence portend for the world at large? Readers new and old alike – you’ve never seen the FF like this before! Prepare to witness the mind-blowing birth of the super-team that will change everything this March, only in FF #1!"

The FF will, I hope be more in the vein of the original Fantastic Four - more realistic and heroic. Jonathan Hickman's run on the Fantastic Four was a strong one, so hopefully this will be of its equal.

Looks good, but I thought it was the "end of the fantastic 4"? not that spidey would join and they'd be the f4 again? and what's the future foundation?
Although, you have to admit this is the ultimate [frick] you to FOX from Marvel, not only have they killed off Johnny which may effect a future F4 movie, but they replaced him with Spidey, who's rights lie with Sony, effectively trying to jeopardize both movies!
I'm still gutted Torch is dead, he was my favourite member of the F4, would've been sweet to see Johnny and Spidey on the new FF together!

Is that the actual cover art from the book? Looks like crap. I'm not usually one to griff out on something but that really sucks. The whole story line sucks. I'm surprised they would use Spiderman for such a stupid idea.

It's not Fantastic Four #1, it's FF #1. The "FF" standing for Future Foundation. By calling it Fantastic Four #1, you're falsely advertising.

I hope there is a good explaination for the costume change being so bland.

I don't like the costumes at all, but I do like this art. Epting is one of the better artists active today. I've really enjoyed his work on Captain America.
